When our practice is closed you can use the ‘out of hours’ services below to help you in case of an emergency
Are you worried about your pet’s condition?
With just a few questions, the Emergency Home Vet triage nurses will evaluate your companion’s situation with you for free. If, after your discussion with the triage nurse, an emergency veterinary consultation is required, their on-call team of veterinarians are available to come to your home, out of hours, 7 days a week including Sundays and bank holidays.
The Emergency Home Vets are now based at our practice, so once they are fully established, they will be manning our phone lines in the evening and will have full access to our patient’s medical records. That means our clients will have brilliant case continuity and will continue to receive excellent patient care when we are closed.
The team at Emergency Home Vets come directly to your home to tend to your pets and will have the necessary equipment to manage your emergency until our practice reopens at 8:30am.
The Emergency Home Vets can perform stitch ups, unblock cats, treat sickness and diarrhoea and offer at home euthanasias and much much more.

MiNightVet Chester is a small animal out of hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats, birds, exotics, poultry and small mammals. They are based in Chester and provide emergency overnight and weekend care to clients when we are closed.
The MiNightVet team provide a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.
